Goncept takes the atrocities he witnessed growing up in war torn Sudan and fuses it with the struggle present in his everyday life to create music that is both conscious and relatable to all listeners. He has a gift for blending real life stories into popular music, a rare quality amongst today’s artists. But that is just it; Goncept is no regular artist. Within him lies the vision and delivery of Tupac, with musical appeal similar to K’Naan that can be felt around the world.
A fully independent artist, Goncept has graced the stage with such acts as Fabolous, Bun B, Drake, G-Unit and Snoop Dogg. But his goals are not limited to being a supporting act.
